This blog is a celebration of what’s free, or at least, very cheap. I’m also a writer. So when Buzzfeed published this reminder about the not-so-secret ‘about’ section of Facebook, I thought, well, how’s that for some free creative fodder.
What then ensued was a totally not-creepy delve into random Facebook friends’ treasure troves, long closed on (as it is apparent), the angsty teen years, to discover what they’re all about:

We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars. Find what you’re most afraid of and go live there. Open your eyes.
End of story.
The universe will unfold as it should, a story of a charming girl with an apple as a heart, whether or not it is clear to you right now.
Our fear is not that we are inadequate. The universe tends to unfold as it should.
What’s the difference between cynicism and realism? We must become the change we want to see in the world. One apple, one heart. Soz and chips. Do I really look like a guy with a plan?
Open your eyes, it’s a lovely day.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
I hope this starts a craze. The kind that ignites the airwaves.
Where there is fire, I will bring gasoline. On fire? you were leaping about with a bassoon taped to your head!
